Job description

Mitie is looking for a hands-on Building Maintenance Supervisor to support the Metropolitan Police contract across three sites in London. This is a working supervisor role combining technical expertise with team leadership to deliver high-quality maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of 8 engineers across 3 sites, delivering planned and reactive maintenance

• Carry out hands-on mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled maintenance tasks

• Allocate work, provide technical guidance and support team development

• Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements

• Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders

Full-time, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical or electrical discipline. Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or lead role. Strong understanding of building services and compliance requirements.
