Key ResponsibilitiesInspections: Conduct detailed visual and geometric track inspections within deep-tube tunnels and surface lines.Maintenance: Manage asset renewals, rail grinding, and track stabilization during tight engineering hours.Design: Develop permanent way (P-Way) modifications to meet strict TfL assurance standards.Safety: Oversee track handback procedures to ensure the line is perfectly safe for passenger trains each morning.

Requirements

Qualifications: Degree or HND in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent railway apprenticeship.Licences: Must hold or be working towards TfL track access, Lookout, and relevant P-Way competencies (e.g., Stressing, Handback).Environment: Frequent night shifts during the track closure window to minimize daytime passenger disruption.Sentinel
